Rutabaga was left at the front gates at the ranch during a cold night in December of 2020. He was in a dog crate covered by only a blanket. Staff found Rutabaga when they first arrived in the morning. Rutabaga was extremely cold and didn't want to move much. Staff and volunteers at the ranch that day jumped in and started treating Rutabaga. Later in the day he was becoming more active. Rutabaga can be found daily running around the event barn getting all the loving he can handle. He especially loves his belly and chin rubbed!!
